MCS has developed free HVAC classes, designed for Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers, Facility Managers, Owners, Developers and anyone interested in learning about mechanical systems.  Come learn in a friendly, no pressure, no sales pitch, non-academic environment, how to protect your asset.  Knowing your mechanical systems and how they operate is important to make informed decisions regarding your valuable assets. These courses are offered as a courtesy of Mechanical & Control Services, Inc. for the benefit of the individuals working in the commercial building and real estate industry.

Our courses are taught by nationally certified HVAC instructors. Each course gives you the basic mechanical information and necessary tools to effectively control costs, anticipate problems and manage tenant concerns.  The courses include resource binders & handouts in addition to a question and answer opportunity.  Bring your own stories, issues or concerns and have a senior technician answer them without a service call!!! 

• HVAC 101 - This course covers preventive maintenance; terms and components for gas packs, split systems and heat pumps; which components are the most costly to fix or replace; why components fail. 

• HVAC 201 - This course examines Hydronic Heat Pumps and Variable Air Volume systems, terms and components, maintenance, repairs and why certain components fail.

• HVAC 301 - This course covers larger, more complicated systems and includes equipment like boilers, chillers, swamp coolers and more.

MCS holds these classes periodically at their headquarters, located in Milton, WA.  A custom class designed specifically for your organization or group at your location is also an option we are happy to offer.
